'All sorrows are less with bread' Amen!

A Saturday well spent brings a week of content (well I know this is said for a Sunday...but I had such a good day today that it's put me in such a positive mood!)

Yey to not working on Saturdays! A very rare opportunity for me!!

We visited The Fumbally- http://thefumbally.ie/food/- a Mediterranean/Middle-Eastern chilled out vibe eatery. I got the mixed salad plate with falafel (which was HUGE!!!)- think mixed beans, roasted butternut squash, walnut, leafy greens and humous! Yummy! And Ev got the pulled pork sandwich. Espressos and desserts and drinks added in and the bill came to just under 30 euros. And I'm still full as I'm writing this...

We will be back- because I loved the food so much! Bit noisy at times (is that me getting too old?!) but the really laid back atmosphere means I know I could pop in here anytime with sans a face full of slap! #winning

A day spent in the city centre isn't complete without a trip to the flower stalls on Grafton Street. Sunflowers always make me smile...Hope you are all having a lovely weekend!

Fierce Shoe Friday

Native American Chic

Seen as it's 4th of July- I thought it would be appropriate to choose a fitting shoe! Whether for a festival (non mucky terrain providing...) or for after work drinks with your skinnies- these brown ankle fringed boots are so summer fitting.

I was lucky enough to score my own pair in Pennys for a under a tenner a few years back (shhhhh!!)- but you can pick up yours in Topshop.

I'm styling mine with my Joni jeans (obsessed...!), a floor length Kimono and fedora- and two pigtails (optional!) to unleash my Pocohontas!

Happy shopping and have a great weekend everyone x

Dine in Dublin- 777- Tequila bar and Mexican Restaurant

So, myself and a few friends tried out 777 on Monday night. Located on South George's street (right next to the George)- it has dope decor, a 70's playlist and chilled out clientale vibe.

Monday is Margarita Monday (2 for €12...holla!!!) and being a Virgin Tequila drinker- I was dying to try out the impressive drinks menu!

We had 4 starters, 4 mains, 2 extra sides, 3 non alcoholic drinks, 2 Margaritas and the bill came to €150 including tip! Really reasonable for City Centre!

I has Quesi Frito (fried cheese, beans and apricot salad) for starters, shrimp Taquitos (three soft tacos that are oozing in flavour...they had run out of crab...) for my main and bread and butter pudding for dessert (which came in a delicious toffee sauce)!

I'll be back...but to get the Amarillo next time (tuna sashimi, watermelon and avocado) which Ev ordered. And to have two Margaritas all to myself...

777 are on Twitter and Instagram too- check them out @ 777dublin
