Sometimes a lavish gift isn't feasible! Heck, I'm at that uncomfortable mid 20's age where I am supposed to be seeing more greens then red arrows in my e-banking and so splurging isn't a big factor in this years shopping! Is it just me or have the shops got the most amazing pieces in when you are the most broke?! Ugh! Favourite Summer Looks

So this Summer I was very very lucky in that I got to travel to three different cities; Beijing, Dubai and Casablanca. And this meant that I got to wear a lot of clothes that I wouldn't be able to wear back home in Ireland (boo rain!)- here are my top 3 favourite outfits from my five-week long vacation. 50 shade of GREY!

I'm heading with some friends to see the '50 shades of grey' movie tonight and we decided to treat ourselves and go for a VIP screening in the Mezz in Swords. So yes, i'll be having a glass of something cheeky with Popcorn and drooling over Jamie Dornan. I have yet to read the books, so I actually have no idea what most of the film will be about (*shock horror*) and have dedicated this post to all things shades of grey. Fur is huge this season! Whether you choose to do just a pom pom keyring or a Cruella da Ville inspired jacket, there are so many ways to fluff up your outfit! I have lusted over Charlotte Simone's kitsch insta feed the last few months (think fruit loops inspired scarves!), but if her Popsicles are out of your budget, head over to the high street where you are guaranteed to find some furry gems. Pretty Pastels...

So the clocks went forward today which means brighter evenings and one step closer to Summer Time! I can't wait to ditch the fur and fleece (as fab as they are, coordinating outfits to look not only fashionable but practical in this horrible winter we have had has become a pain...) and I am looking forward to wearing less layers and brightening up my outfits...

In the midst of the mass chocolate feast that I am having, I thought I would do a quick spring top ten buys dedicated to all things Pretty and Pastel- and all high street too! I'm obsessed with the pink clutch by Trendabelle which was actually styled on this Australian fashion page called Sabo Skirt- http://www.saboskirt.blogspot.ie/. January Blues

January Blues...

Post-Christmas usually revolves a January of impossible resolutions, sky rocket gym memberships, tee-total nights out and empty pockets. Hence the dreaded January Blues. 
So instead of retreating to the sofa to watch re-runs of last years tv with celery sticks and goji berries, I am embracing the January Blues with a blue hue for the whole month. Be it by painting my nails cobalt blue or wearing my sale-steal mixed blue tweed jacket I snapped from Zara (I have worn it four of the last six days...borderline obsession!).
